Mark Heston joined Transforming Age as the Chief Human Resources Officer. A mission‑driven HR executive, Mark brings 25+ years of leadership experience spanning senior living, banking, agricultural science, education, and municipal government. He founded Heston + Associates Consulting and previously served 14 years as CHRO at LCS, where he supported 145 communities and more than 20,000 employees. A Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Mark holds an M.A. in Human Resources Management from the University of Iowa and a B.B.A. in Finance from Iowa State University. He has chaired the Argentum Human Resources Roundtable and serves as Board Chair at Accra, a nonprofit health organization. Mark is energized to meet the growing needs of our aging society by investing in people, strengthening culture, building high‑performing teams, and ensuring seamless onboarding for new affiliates to continue to scale the organization’s impact nationwide.
